It is 2024 and just the other day I was thinking of you. I liked you the first time we met at the Chicago Boat Show. Wow, a boater I thought. . .must be a good guy and met the right woman while you were boating in Michigan. I was so proud to see what a good Dad you were and loved Kimmy so very much. Fair winds and following seas. . .

Dear Luczak Family,

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Ricky's death. Some of my fondest childhood memories include Ricky - playing on Friday nights while our parent's played Pinnacle, spending summer and winter weekends at the cottage. Ricky grew into such a beautiful adult - so incredibly kind and compassionate, it is tragic that his life was cut short. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

With love,
Denise Duffy and family

I will forever miss you, Cousin. But all the crazy, fun, wonderful times we shared.....the holidays, the birthdays, the weddings (friends' and our own) and all the summers/winters spent at our cottages will never be forgotten. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Ricky’s passing. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers, and send our deepest of condolences to the Luczak Family.

Some of my fondest memories as a child were spent with Ricky, at the lake house waterskiing, snowmobiling, making fun of our parents playing pinnacle till 2am. I remember his contagious laugh and incredible sense of humor.

"Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Thank you, Rick, for being a kind and compassionate person. As I sit here in Florida, I remember the thrills you had in life boating, snowmobile riding, opening businesses and coaching. You filled up your forty years with laughter and life! We will continue to laugh and live and a day will not go by that we will not remember you. I have always admired you.
