Father Fassbinder presided over my Brother's Funeral in 1971 and was very supportive in my and my family's time of grief. At St. Emily's together with Father Voss and Father MacLoraine, I received my sacraments of 1st communion and confession. He was always the most affable priest and everybody tried to go to him for confession. He was the best.

We have been privledged to consider Father Fassbinder as a friend for 30 years. He was our councilor in preparation for marriage and officiated at our wedding ceremony. He was ever present at almost every important event in our lives during that time and will be missed.
Father Fassbinder was ever the caring and kindest of gentlemen to those who knew him well enough to broach the wall around him. May God bless him and grant him eternal rest.
