My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Donoghue famiy. I often think back onto the last time Mr. Donoghue came to visit his old friend Clare when he was sick. The minute he entered, his energy lifted the spirit of the entire apartment. His booming voice, his sense of humor, his warmth and generosity made us feel wonderful during a low time. The earth is a sadder place now, without this kind sole on it.

On the special occasions when I met him in Columbus with Noony and Jack, Mr. Donoghue's wit, intellect and charisma were evident. He certainly loved his family and will be missed.
