I have known Dick Christian for more than 40 years and enjoyed every minute I was lucky to spend with him. He was a stellar member of the real advertising world, unlike the fictional picture of that industry we get from "Mad Men." And he didn't hibernate after retiring from Marsteller. He dove into his Northwestern University duties with a vigor and passion that a lot of younger fellows can only dream about.
My deepest sympathies to Audrey and Richard and the rest of his family. We will all join you in missing this sweet guy.

Very sorry to hear about Dick. I worked for him at Marsteller and remember him as a gracious, gentle man. My condolences to his family.

To Dick's family,

He was a man we could always count on for leadership at the Marsteller agency. I liked Dick. I enjoyed a few games of golf with him. I appreciated his counsel when we both moved on to academic endeavors. I'm sure Dick is remembered fondly by many friends and associates.
