Dear Carlson family: My prayers are with you during this time of mourning. Richard left a rich legacy in all the students whom he taught. As I said on Covchurch.org, many of my memories are from Douglas Park Covenant Church, where I was a member for about 8 years. I moved there because I had no money and had just started working for the Court. I soon realized that I was called to be a presence in that setting, just by being there to show my openness to racial reconciliation and harmony. Richard modeled that throughout his life as did Jolene. God Bless you. Melinda Hunter
