Our deepest heartfelt sympathy to Drotha and the entire Bruno family. We often visited Dick for a chat while our daughter played for Doug. A faithful and delighful man. No one could replace him.We always want great men to live forever, but that is altogether impossible. You have another angel to watch over your family.

Mr. Bruno was such a nice guy! He was genuinely liked by all and easily attracted friendship. Reverent, honest, proud family man with a great sense of humor! I always enjoyed his stories and his wit. Sports were in his blood and his tactical experiences gave us an appreciated perspective. His love of DePaul basketball was deep and contagious.
And a Sox fan too!!!!!
Mostly though, he was a warm gentleman who made all the staff and residents at the Kenwood feel like family. I'll miss his joking, serious discussions, like, efficient ways to shave, his optimistic hope, and the embrace of his smile.
Mrs. Bruno, my heart aches for you, but you are a very strong, vibrant woman who will come through this. You and Mr. Bruno are a classy couple who stand as an example of a strong family. We share your pain and hope that you will come to us if we can be of any help. Your husband is with God and at peace. Thanks for being patient while Mr. Bruno and I shared a joke or story in the hallway.
To the Bruno family, THANK YOU for sharing Mr. Bruno with us! He loved all of you guys with all his heart and spoke of his family many, many times. I come from a large family and we would share our large family stories a number of times. Mr. Bruno reminded me of my Dad and the ethic of people working hard for the betterment of their family.
I'm just one person of many who have been touched by Mr. Bruno and am grateful to have known him. I'm honored to have had his friendship and blessed with his memory. My condolences to his family and many friends.

Dear Brunos,
So sorry for the loss of Dick. I had some enjoyable times bantering and playing tennis with him and was blessed with the opportunity to compete in sports with some of his sons. Please know that I and the rest of the Furlers that knew Dick share in your loss of a fine man. May God comfort you in your time of grief and may He always grant you fond memories of Dick.

Dear Drotha and all your family,
My deepest sympathy and condolence to you all on the loss of Dick. He was friend to all here at the Kenwood. I cherish many memories of him. He usually sat in front of me at the advanced exercise classes on Mondays and Wednesdays and I tried to keep up with his vim and vigor. He always attended the monthly Men's Club luncheons and participated actively in the conversations. We have missed him after he became ill and now continue to miss him since he won't return physically. His spirit lives on with God, especially with you and your family and and with us too. May your grief be comforted.
