Mom, you where always there to answer my phone calls, no matter where I was traveling. Even though Judy has been able to master the rice pudding, no one will ever outdo you with your cinnamon rolls, quilts or sewing. Judy and I will always charish our summer and winter quilts that you made for us. Please give Dad and Joyce a big hug for us. Love ya!

Grandma, it was always hard being the youngest grandchild and the furthest away.

I will always remember watching Twins games with you, your canned pears, the attic toy stash and most of all, my very own "especially made by Grandma" quilt (which like Kathy, is still on my bed).

We all miss you dearly and know how proud you were of all of us.

The memories that I cherish the most include learning how to make baby quilts (those mitered corners are still hard to do), playing dominoes, eating cookies and cinnamon rolls, zigsaw puzzles, talking on the phone, flannel pajamas for me and my bear, Christmas Eve, talking about life back when, books, hearing about the relatives, Changable Charlie and other toys that we could only play with at Grandma's house, and the way Grandma was always available to listen. Love and miss you.

Grandma was the one to go to for questions about how to make rhurbarb sauce, miter a quilt corner, ask about what cousin is doing what, or what each great-grand child was up to. You had to check with her before visiting because you never knew who she would be off visiting.

Best memories were of Christmas when we would all get new flannel nightgowns or pj's. Our parents knew that if we put them on before leaving grandma's, it would be easier getting us off to bed once we got home.

I never believed that we were having squirrel hot dish and her rice pudding was easy to make. She wouldn't give you a recipe but had you come to her house for cooking lessons. She fought Aunt Alice for gravy stirring and made pancakes for the dogs. You knew you were special when you got one of her quilts. No baby should ever go without a hat, (even when it was in the middle of August), and every baby needs to be wrapped in a cozy quilt or crochet blanket.

In Grandma's memory, I would like to encourage all those who can make or buy a quilt or a blanket, and to pass them onto a church or organization that accepts them for God's littlest people. Grandma would really like that. We are all lucky to have a part of her in our hearts and memories forever.

Grandma, We will miss you so much! I will never forget visiting your house & your cookie jar (it was always full). Thank you for the wonderful handmade pajamas and quilts over the years - I still have your quilt on my bed! I just wish I would have inherited your green thumb or your ability to make the best cinnamon rolls! We will miss you! We are glad you are at peace!

All our love,
Kathy Jo, Rob, Grant, & Taylor Jo Beery

Grandmother, we will miss you dearly. Whether it be talking Minnesota Twins baseball, baking cinnamon rolls or eating your favorite KFC meal with you, these were the simple things that made you special. Thanks for all you love and support.

Take care in heaven, say hi to Grandpa for me. See if he still wants to go ice fishing when I get up there.

Love you always, Tom, Cheryl, Caleigh, Leigha, Molleigh and Mitch.
