I had the good fortune to team with Dick in the very early 70's at Loyola Academy around some religious reflection sessions with students. He was a great experienced role model for me as a "newbie" member of the LA faculty. Dick's faith, humor and/or laughter were always at the ready and infectious. He gifted me with a saying about commitment that I have never forgotten. One evening as we frustratingly confronted "calendar-collisions" in struggling to find dates for some future sessions with students, I told him we should think about it and revisit the effort down the road. Dick said, "Moorhead, SOMETIME is "NEVER"!! That thought was burned into my internal memory DVD, and how often I have quoted him when, in calendar planning with others, we seemed to reach an impasse. Rest In Peace,Dick.your smile and kindnesses for the family will forever be remembered . As my dad, Jack Grossman's, cousin many of my memories are from my youth and they are full of smiles.
