My condolences to the Altkorn family. I am the grandson of Morris Kaiser and his wife Regina (Rivka) nee Altkorn. Many years ago, you and your husband and his brother Irving attended my grandfather's funeral.

Mrs. Altkorn I saw the death notice and I'm sending my condolences to
you and your family. Do your remember me? Winston Towers #3 manager, 6 yrs. ago. Janice Jensen. My mom passed away Friday morning, 2/26/10. She was 91 yrs. old. I remember Mr. Altkorn.

Just last week I was transferring a video of old movies to dvd and saw my parents and Dick and Eva in their prime, late 1940s, at Nippersink Manor. You two have been a part of my life, and will remain part of my life. I will miss Dick's smile, his excitement about books and ideas, his energy, his love for me and my sister Judy, his memories, his inextinguishable curiosity and resistance to easy answers. Mostly the way he helped me learn what friendship meant in his times with my dad. For all that and more, thanks.
