Dad,
You were the best. You will always be with me in my heart and the hearts of my children. Take your rest. You've earned it. If there's a ball and a hoop in heaven, shoot a few baskets for me until I get there. I love you.

Daddy, you are the love of my life. You have taught me many things over the years but the greatest lessons I have learned from you are patience, understanding, kindess, and most of all, LOVE. There's not a day that hasn't gone by when I haven't cried or simply smiled at the thought of you. You were my first love and you always will be.
I miss you so much, Daddy. One day we will meet in the air and my tears of sorrow will turn to joy. Until then, I will look for you behind every rainbow and every star in the midnight sky. I will always love you.
