Thinking back on what I knew about his life, I have a sense that he is in a better place now. Alive, I knew him as a calm person, but always quick to tell you of some time or another; Very personable, yet very passionate about certain subjects. We would have discussions about architecture and his accomplishments in that field. I was always very envious of the stone carving on the façade of his apartment building on Bonnie Brae, and he knew it. Before I would even ask him to tell me about it again, he would. To my family out there, I love you. Like you all, I miss him greatly and I will remember him always. Love you Grandpa.

Dear Mrs. Vogel,
I have heard many stories about your family from Richard - I have been one of his patients for many years and that I feel like I know all of you.
I am sorry I will not be able to attend the services, but please accept my condolences, and those of my family.
Sincerely,
Rose Odeshoo
