To the Family of Father Raymond Guidry: Father Guidry was truly a blessing to our family and community. We thank you for the blessing of your loved one. He visited often at our home with our parents and atended prayer group meetings with our mother and friends. Father Guidry always held our attention with a story that related to the message of that day in the Mass. His stories allowed us to relate our life experiences with those shared therefore recognizing its allignmnet with salvation history. He is missed dearly, but in our hearts he lives on. May God continue to bless you with strength and encouragement during this time of bereavement. We loved him, therefore we love you. The Payne Family (Joseph, Cynthia, Quentin & Justin)

Father Guidry was a great associate pastor. His sermons always inspired me. He performed the funeral services for my Father. The sermon for the funeral was very touching and memorable. We were very sad to see him leave Holy Ghost. My mother and I visited him once in Galveston. He loved to travel. I know that he has been looking forward to this final journey. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

To Father Guidry's Family,
Your lost is my lost also. His homilies would capture you, because he always had a story or poem that you would not forget. He would visit with my Dad who was at home alone while I was at school teaching. Thanks Father Guidry for making my Dad's days, Happy Days. When, I would walk in after school, the first thing Daddy would say "Father Guidry came by and we had a long talk." Daddy would not tell me what they talked about though.(Smile). He brought joy to many families. The Rivette's Family hold a special place in our hearts for Father Guidry. My sincere condolences to his Family. May He rest forever in peace with the Lord.
