Raymond Epstein Obituary

Dear Betty, I was so sorry to read of Ray's passing. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of Ray when I would come to help him with his computer problems and he would teach me more than I could teach him.

Judd called to tell me of Ray's death. I was very sorry to hear that. Condolences to your familu. You were so helpful to Judd and me when Joe died. I will never forget it. Ray was a wonderful man.

I want to extend my condolences to the entire Epstein family on Raymond's passing. Raymond was a gentleman and a scholar in the truest sense. He was a good friend to my father and I have many happy memories of trips to Hyde Park to visit with him and Sidney. His good works and kindness will live on in all of our memories.

I was very sorry to hear about your father's passing. He was an inspiration to me as a young man to be successful in life, and to have a wonderful family to share it with.

Raymond was one of the important ingredients in my career who gave me a start by having confidence in my abilities. Raymond will always be in my heart and I will never forget what a sweet, good human being he was.

I WAS VERY SAD TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS. I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN ON MY MIND ALL DAY.

A bright light was extinguished in my firmament. I was one of Ray’s Boys from the ABC. His presence as a role model left an indelible mark on me. I will forever treasure the memory of this good man.

Ray was a master of so many fine attributes--including leadership, culture, philanthropy, hospitableness, erudition, congeniality, community service. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.

We have lost a very dear friend. I am one of Ray's Boys from the ABC. I will miss him very much.

It is a very sad day, our very best and nicest costumer is not with us any more, I enjoyed every moment I saw Mr Epstein. I'm grateful that I had the honor to do some work for him. We will miss him in so many ways.

Fern and I extemd our condolences to the entire Epstein family. Rays leadership and concern for everything that effected the Chicago Jewish Community and Jews everywhere is known to all of us, who knew him, and has been an inspiration to my own involvement. Chicgao will miss his presence in the numerous organiztion that depended on his leader ship and example.
