Czarnik, Raymond E. U.S. Army Vet. WWII, 76, longtime resident of Edison Park, beloved husband of 51 years to June (nee Soreng), loving father of Thomas "Eggs", Raymond (Kathy), Kathleen (Don) Schramm, Mark (Christine) and John Czarnik, proud grandfather of Andrew, Scott, Aaron, Shauna, Rachel and Christopher, dear brother of Lorraine (Ignatius) Wawrzaszek and the late Edward Czarnik, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Funeral Friday, 9:30 a.m., prayers at the funeral home to St. Juliana Church. Dear June & Family,
We as your family (Jimmy, Brian,& me) want you all to know how sorry we are. Ray was a good man, he loved his family and most of all he loved life, he kept his faith till the very end.
Please know you are in our prayers, and I have asked that Ray be prayed for at Notre Dame so he will be getting over 900 prayers including students and faculty and staff.
