Masla, Ray J. age 78, at rest July 14th, WWII Army Veteran, beloved husband of 54 years of Dolores (nee Palkovic), loving dad of Paul (Louise), Nick (Marjorie), Connie (Mark) Chamley, Marikay (Ron) Evans and Vicki (Tim) Berg, cherished grandpa of Katie, Jill, Mary, John, Rachel, Nick, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Emily, Matthew, Josh, Hayley and Leah, special uncle of Richard Wanago and many other nieces and nephews, fond brother of John (Mary Lou), Alvira Rickett, Pat Cattapan and Jo Reynolds and brother-in-law of Evelyn (late Mike) Ribic and the late Fran Wanago. Funeral services Monday, July 18th, 8:45 a.m., from the Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer, at Natoma to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations to St. Daniel the Prophet's St. Vincent dePaul Society or St. Jude's Hospital preferred and appreciated. Ray was a lector, active parishioner of St. Daniel the Prophet Church, avid bowler, life long sox fan and a 37 year retired employee of CPC International. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 9 p.m. 773-586-7900
