Randy Leslie Obituary

Thoughts and prayers, I remember Randy when he 1st became a BPD officer. My dad and uncles knew his grandfather Eddie Groh well. Randy is still missed by all.

I am saddened and stunned by the loss of your loved one Randy. I remember him when he would come in to vote in all the elections.(in Bellwood Pct. 137) He was always there to help out his fellow man. and truly cared about people. I have great memories of Randy from many years ago. More importantly, it is clear that Randy's wife, Christine, and his children have incredible memories of him and the person he was to them. May these memories and your faith guide you through this untimely loss.

I was so sorry to read about Randy's passing. All of us who had the priviledge of working with him at RIC are better for it. We see many people, but I assure you that we will never forget Randy. He was one in a million. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Randy served his community very well. First with the boys club and then with the village of Bellwood Police Department. The guy always had a smile and a kind word. To his family my heart goes out to all of you. I will remember what the father said at his mass , that death stops a life, it does not stop the relationship. Randy will always be part of us that knew him.I know our friends Alvin, Jose and Rob were there to welcome him home.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Randy was a great friend in high school and the years following, I know the whole gang will miss him dearly.

Christine and Family, please accept our sincere condolences. I'm sorry we never met, but Randy was a dear friend of ours and we were very close during our High School days. I won't forget how he offered his 1978 Cougar and then personally decorated it for our wedding in 1980. Randy would do anything for anyone. We had a alot of great times back in our school days; I wish we would have lived closer after graduation. Randy was a great person a sincere friend and he will be deeply missed by each one of us. My family extends our sympathy to the Leslie family. Some of my best times in my younger years involved Randy. A trip to Key West, Class night, and the start of my present career were some of the things I shared with him.

I was deeply saddened to read about Randy's passing. The Bellwood Boy's Club was very fortunate to have had him there. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Randy will always have a special place in my heart. He taught me how to fish and play poker. We had many great times with my brothers and friends, especially in Montello, Wisconsin, the Boundary Waters, and Colorado. Also the poker games, football game parties, and numerous Halloween parties! My deepest sympathies go out to Christine, her children, and to her and Randy's families. As a young officer starting out in Bellwood, he was a good supervisor and quite helpful when some struggles arose. This was a great man for Bellwood and to his family. I am sorry for your loss.

Randy was a great person and a wonderful friend. Someone you could always count on. I am so sorry about your loss.

Randy was one of the most warm-hearted, generous people I've ever known. I always enjoyed the laughs at the cookouts, the Superbowl and poker parties. But my best memory is the the first summer we drove up to his trailer in Wisconsin to go fishing and camp out for the weekend. I had never fished in WI before, so it was a very big deal to me. I caught my very first and best trophy fish that Sunday. And I made a good friend who I will miss dearly.
