Dear Armando & Anthony, I still can't believe your mother Mona is no longer with us after all these years. Every day on my way to work I pass your mother's resting place at Woodlawn and slow down just to say good morning and to let her know she is not forgotten. Mona was truly a special person, strong woman, compassionate soul, and most important a very good friend. Take comfort to know she is taking care of both of you and her grandchildren from up above. I can now see Mona teaching CCD, baking her famous upside down pineapple cake, smiling she met and held her first grandchild in her arms, and giving warm embraces to all those children who never experienced the love and warmth of a grandmother's arms. Thank you both for sharing Mona with the Lord and her family who have gone before her. Miriam Romo Jan.17.2020

Mona
Christmas and your birthday have come and gone and now we celebrate the anniversary of your passing away. I take comfort in my faith to know that you are celebrating your eternal life with your mom and dad and family and friends who have gone before you as they have opened their arms and embraced you with love and hope and peace. You continue to be missed my dear friend each and every day especially when I drive past your resting place each morning on my way to work. I believe the dear Lord called you home for a special mission and that part of it is to continue to look after your family, friends and especially your beloved grandson Diego. Love you Mona and soon our paths will cross again.
