Phyllis Locander Obituary
Phyllis Louise Locander, age 76, lifelong resident of Chicago, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022. Born on August 30, 1945, she was the cherished daughter of the late Phillip Roux and the late Peggy Roux (nee Schwartz). Loving wife of the late Ronald Locander; adored mother to the late Randall Locander; cherised grandmother to Luciano Locander, Ramon Rivera, Gino Locander, Olivia Martinez, and Reyna Locander; beloved great-grandmother; and sister to Barbara Jean Roux Licko. Her heart was pure of gold as she generously opened her hand and heart to all people. She not only nurtured her family and friends, but she loved animals and nature. She had an undefined love for her fur babies and her garden. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Memorial Visitation Thursday, August 25,2022 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave. Chicago. Interment Friday, August 26, 2022 10:30 a.m. at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Family and friends to meet at the cemetery office.
