Phillip J. Suffern age 77, passed away Sept. 28, 2022. U.S. Army Veteran. Late of Buchanan, TN formerly of Chicago. Beloved husband for 53 years of Kathleen "Kathy" (nee Monahan). Loving father of Phillip (Jennifer DPM) Suffern, Jennifer (Timothy) Baker and Carolyn (Christopher) Wakefield. Dear papa of Emily and Abigail Suffern, Ashley Merath, Alissa, and Christopher Wakefield. Brother of Mary Jane Manning, Theresa Mannes and the late Ellen, Frederick, Thomas and Joseph Suffern, Loretta Thompson, and Frances Sowa. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired Communications Systems Engineer and Chief Union Steward for I.B.E.W Local 134. Member of Amvets. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 pm â€" 9:00 pm at Donnellan Funeral Home 10525 S. Western Ave. Funeral Thursday 9:00 am from the funeral home to St. John Fisher Church 10235 S. Fairfield Ave. Chicago for Mass 10:00 am. Int. Beverly Cemetery. My heartfelt condolences to Aunt Kathy, children & grandchildren on the passing of Uncle Phillip. I have good memories of Joey & I being with all of you at the Galvan - Pastewski picnics in the early '90's, may God rest Uncle Phillips soul! Sending my love
