We all just want to express our sincere sympathy on your loss. Phil was a wonderful man, husband, father and granfather to all of you. I have known him for more than half of my life as a wonderful neighbor. He always had a smile on his face no matter what. No matter when I saw him, he gave me a hug. You should all be proud of the person he was. He will be missed by many people whose lives he touched. My father thought the world of Phil too, of course being a fellow CTA man added to their bond. Phil and my father Dennis are now sharing a lot of gossip and having a few good laughs together. Your memories and the love that you have for Phil will keep you going through the difficult times. My mother, Erin, Lindsey and I know that. You will never ever foget him, but the pain will lessen as the memories and smiles get stronger. Phil will always be a part of all of your lives and he will be watching over all of you. Phil is and always will be "home" with you, because home is where the heart is, and his heart is with you as yours are all with him.
