Mr. O’Donnell was more than just a wonderful person; I worked for with him for 15 years. He was always kind and considerate to me as a boss, and a friend sometimes as a father with all his words that I will never forget. He would always tell me that I was his right hand and he couldn’t do anything if I am not at work it’s like working with just 2 left hands. He taught me so much and learned from the best. I will miss him dearly; Mr. O’Donnell will always remain within my heart. May God give you all strength?

As for Bridget and Patrick, I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad. We know that he is now with God in a better place without pain and suffering gone. I know how much his pain caused you sorrow and grief and I found it extremely difficult to see you bear it. All your father talked about was Patrick and Bridget and he would always call me so I would listen. Your dad will always be with you; his spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your father but the time you did spend with him meant so much to him. Your dad loved you very much and I know you will miss him terribly. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives and your father was one of the best examples I know. But, in your lives God will never give us more than we can bear and he is with you through every step there are no words to express our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. May GOD bless you all?

I am sorry I will be out of town on Friday, or I would attend the funeral. My deepest sympathies to everyone in the family, and especially Bridget, my dear student, in your loss. While I did not know Mr. O'Donnell, I know from his wonderful daughter Bridget that he was a very special man. You will continue to be in my thoughts, espeically on Friday.
