Philip Iwan Obituary

Iwan Family, I was so sorry to hear about Phil's passing. I worked with Phil when employed with Norridge PD in 1973. Phil was a great guy and I have many fond memories of our exploides together. I left Norridge to join Chicago PD in 1976 but still had some contact with Phil throughout my 35yrs with CPD. Phil was always the happy smiling good humored guy that made it easy to want to be his friend. My condolences go out to his immediate family. Phil will be sorely missed but not forgotten. The Iwan family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all at this most challenging time.

My family & I just heard the news of Phil's passing. He was my Aunt Gerardina Manzi's neighbor. He always helped her out since my uncle passed away with chores. I've only met him a couple times but heard many many nice things about him from my aunt, before she also passed away. Our prayers are with you and your family.
