Your husband and I worked together at the Chicago Park District. He got
me started in refereeing soccer games which I have now been doing for the past twelve years. Your son, Paul, and my son, Victor, played soccer together on a championship team in Highland Park. And we shared bread together one evening at your home. Thank you for sharing a few paths with me on life's journey. I'm sorry I missed your wake, but I did not learn of your passing until the following day. God be with you.

I attended Kelly High School with Holger and met Petra through him. I was
saddened to hear of her passing. My best to you, Holger, and to Petra's family.
