Not sure what to say?

A year ago today I lost one of the most important people in my life. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my Uncle multiple times a day. They say time heals all wounds, but I somehow feel that the emptiness cannot be filled. There are many moments where I want to walk next door to tell him about my day, or something funny will happen and I will immediately want to call him. Words cannot express the sadness I feel when I think of Uncle Pete not being here in all of our lives.

I take comfort knowing that he is now with Auntie Michelle, Grandma, and many other loved ones. I hope Uncle Pete is watching down on me everyday and that he is proud of me.

I love my Uncle with my whole heart and will carry his memories always. He will live on through his family and friends. He was absolutely one of the great ones that can never be replaced.
People always joked about his unfortunate "bad luck", little did he know how lucky the rest of us were to have him in our lives. I am the lucky one. I love you.

I can't believe it is almost a year since you left us. I miss you more and more everyday. I think of you daily. You were my big brother. You were the son my mother never had. I love you and hope you are enjoying being with Michelle, your mom and dad.

goomba, you were the best godfather I could ever have, I will miss you more then you will ever know, I will miss your smile, your laugh, your knowledge and just your presence in my life.

I know you are now with Aunt Michelle, and Auntie Angie, and I know you are up there playing cards and dice with Grandpa Sam and Uncle Tony.

Uncle Pete was not just an Uncle, he was a father. My memories of Uncle Pete will never fade. He was and will always be an important part of my life. Uncle Pete helped me to become the person I am today, without him my life would have been empty. He taught me many things about love and how very important family is. He will be missed more than words could ever express.
I love you more than you will ever know, until we meet again...

Pete was more more like a brother to me than a cousin, especially after we lost our dear Anthony. I thank God for allowing me the honor to have had him in my life. My heart aches with the thought of never being able to talk to him about old movies or songs or actors, not being able to hear the funny stories, never being able to see that smile when he talked about his nieces and nephews. I know his beautiful wife,Michelle, and his loving Mother, Angie, together with all our loved ones will take care of him now.
I will miss you everyday,
Love, Cousin Carmie

My cousin Pete was very special to all of us. I was his flower girl in his wedding in 1964 which I will always remember. He was the son my mother never had and we will miss him so very much. May he rest in peace with Michelle, his mother and toto.

My Uncle Pete was like another father to me. I will miss so much. He was at my wedding and walked me down the aisle. He and my Aunt Michelle were so nice to me and my sister Lucy.

Uncle Pete was very special to me because he was like my second father, he walked me down the aisle when I got married and he was always there for Anthony like a Grandpa for my son.

He and Auntie Michelle never had any kids, however they always had kids around them because they had 8 nieces and 2 nephews. Then Uncle Pete got to enjoy 2 great nephews (one of them being my son) and 1 great niece.

Everybody loved my Auntie Michelle and Uncle Pete because they were such giving people who never forgot that family and friends were the most important in their lives.

After 22 years without his wife they are back together in heaven.

I had the honor of being one of his nieces and I loved him very much. He was always full of fun from the horse races to the movies to just being together with his family and friends.
I will miss him very, very much.

My Uncle Pete was more like a father to me rather than an Uncle. Such a sweet gentle man so full of love for everyone, especially his family. I will miss every single thing about him especially how the most simple things in life made him so happy. He truly had a tremendous impact in my life and the memories and life lessons he taught me I will carry with me forever.

May he finally rest in peace with Michelle. I will miss him beyond words.

Pete is a brother to many of us. Life without him is hard to imagine. He lived his life on his own terms and cared deeply for his family and friends. He always had a smile and funny stories to tell that we will surely remember forever.
I miss him dearly.
