Peter Losew Obituary
Losew, Peter P. Veteran of WWII, loving companion and best friend of 30 years to Pamela J. Blum. Beloved son of the late Paul and Olga Losew, dear brother of the late Walter (the late Ann), Michael (the late Mildred), Mary (the late Aaron) Cunningham and John Losew, fond uncle of Kathryn Cunningham, Ronald (Mary) Losew and Donald (Carol) Losew, "Uncle Pete" to many nieces and nehews and friends. Resting at Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie Ave., where services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ Advocate Hospice will be deeply appreciated. Lifetime member of DesPlaines Valley #6863. 773-779-4411.

Dear Pam,
We will always have Peter in our hearts. He was a real gentleman and not a mean bone in his body. I always enjoyed talking to him at Mary and Lou's or at the vacations we had in Hayward Wisc. Dan always respected and liked Peter so much. He missed Peter going fishing with him and Louie.

Happy Landings & Blue Skys to Uncle Pete from bob zutoft and his Mother helen in oak lawn ..... bob -->> uncle pete's trusted financial councel for 32 years and certificated FAA pilot @ midway .. plus co-pilot for a " few drinks " at the idle hour bar on pulaski avenue -- " stay on out of the gin mills kid " was uncle petes favorite message when i be leaving for the evening visit with him -- thank you .. bob

Kathryn,
I know your heart was always full of prayers and concern for your uncle. Pete was engaging when I had conversations with him and it is hard to believe that goes back almost 40 years. It was a privilege to have known him.
Sean mentioned the old golf clubs he once gave him when he was little. They became a big play item on the block. Pete smiled about that because he shared the "golf bug" with his little friend.
Our family has been praying for Pete and he will always be in my prayers and fondly remembered.
