Dad -

There is not a moment that goes by that I am not thinking about you and missing you. You are the absolute BEST!! The entire world is at a loss without you.

I have no regrets - we had the best relationship that anyone can ever ask for. You showed me unconditional love that many people never have. I know that I will never get that anywhere else, and I'm thankful to have had it. I know your still with me, but I wish that I can see you and hear your voice in reality, not only in my memory. I also wish that you can tell me that you do know how much we love you and appreciate all that you've done for us.

You are the very best father, grandfather, and friend. In your very own words..."our crew is busted up"...and life feels so empty because of it. You were such a huge part of our lives. I promise to tell Nathan and Benjamin about you every day so memories of you last them throughout their lifetime. I will also remind them how much you loved them. Nathan talks to you all the time - I believe that you are with us and he sees you through his innocence.

Loosing you is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. It hurts more than anyone can imagine, and I know I'll never get over it; but you've prepared me well for life, and luckily your strength and all your words of wisdom have stuck with me.

Dad, I love you and miss you beyond words.

Love Always, your little girl.....your forever daddy's girl

I thank god everyday to have had the honor to be known as "Pete's sister". Pete did more for our family than anyone could imagine. Not only for our parents, his brother's their wife's and for me and my husband but especially for all the kids in the family. Each of us share a monumental void but also are lucky to have had a bigger than life son, brother and uncle. God hold Pete close to your heart as we do and will always. Peter I love you and miss you. Send my love to Mike I know you are together. Your loving sister, Helen

Heather, Buddy, Ben and Nate...

We wish we had words that could make things better.

We wish we had a gift to give that could make you smile.

We wish we had answers to all of your questions.

But the one thing we have that we can give is our heart felt sorrow for your loss. We know it doesn't seem like much, but with our sorrow comes our aid. No matter the time or the place, we will both be there whenever you need us.

We love you all....

Vince & Annie...

Dear Heather, Buddy, Ben, & Nate,

I'm sitting here drinking a "Starbucks-triple-shot-Venti-white-m

ocha" (Pete's favorite hot-drink) for inspiration. I wanted to wait a few days before I did this tribute to the 'BEST FRIEND I'VE EVER HAD! As you well know ,I loved him with all my heart. Some people actually thought I was "Bill W".LOL Pete & I shared a lot more on the weekends than golf, campfires,& let's not forget all the restaurants. We would talk about EVERYTHING, (our wives, ex-wives,kids,grandkids, family, friends, sports, politics, military, the old neighborhood,& the future... until the

wee-hours of the night. I can tell you that there aren't enough words to describe the love he felt for you, Buddy,Ben,Nate, & everyone else in his family.

I can't figure out how Pete had enough time in a day for everything he did, from calling his friends, visiting them, DR. appts. @ 3 different VA hospitals, taking his car to Victor for service, going to Ben's ballgames, visiting his parents, golfing, spend 3-4 days @ the camper, go on his boat & the wave-runners, Union meetings, reading books & newspapers, watching TV & movies, make his 'meetings', and coffee or a meal afterward. Then he would say he didn't have to get up 'til the "crack of noon".

Your father was there with me in hard times & good times. He was like that even when we were growing up, not only with me, but with a lot of other guys too. You could tell the number of people who's lives he touched, by the turn-out at his wake & funeral. We wanted to be there, because he was always there for us. His brother, John, described him perfectly in his eulogy. Pete was also grateful that he & John had become so close in the last 10 yrs, through Bill W.

Nobody could ever fill the void that Pete left us with. We can only pray that we could be so unselfish in our lives, as Pete was

in his.

I will miss him dearly, but I know that he will be with us in our hearts forever.

Love, Dave Higens

Pete "birdied" the golf course of life, but not without a few "hooks"

and "slices" along the way. Now he's playing God's golf course for all eternity.

Pete is in our hearts "fore" ever and always, partner.

P.S. Starbucks stock just
