Gounis, Peter A. age 85, late of Oak Lawn, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2002, beloved son of the late Anastasios (late Panayiota nee Kouvalis) Gounis, cherished husband of Anastasia (nee Lianos), devoted father of Tom and late Ted Gounis, loving brother of Steve (Alice), late Constantine and late Zaharoula Gounis, fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Lying-in- state on Monday, January 21, 2002, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 10:30 a.m., at St. Nicholas Hellenic Orthodox Church, 4501 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, with Reverend Father Timothy Bakakos, officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S.
