We are all very saddened to hear about Pete's untimely passing from all the people he knew and loved. I first met Pete in 1995 on the baseball field as an opposing manager as our kids played against each other. Later we joined forces and managed and coached together on the same team. There were lots of fun times, from all the close 1 run games we won where we talked afterwords about how we out-managed and out-strategized the other team. Pete had a good mind for the game he loved. Playing golf together, sharing a Miller Lite down at the VFW, umpiring together so many games the past 10 years as our kids grew older and left the field, we stayed on together to again enjoy the summer sunshine, the crack of the bat, the cheering crowds from the stands, he loved to be around for that next game. And of course our annual debate on the Cubs-Sox games. We respected each others opinions on that topic.
To Linda and his entire family and circle of good friends, our hearts go out to you. May he rest in peace.

To all of the people who were lucky to have Pete in our lives,
Pete was one of the most positive and happiest people I have ever met and I feel grateful to have had him as a part of my life. He was the kind of guy who loved unconditionally to all he met. I was wavering about writing this, but I heard Pete saying “Cmon do it” and laughing mischievously……always laughing…….
Three things I believe:
I believe you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I believe the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.
I believe the happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the most of anything……….
We will all miss you Pete………
