Pete’s passing saddens me. However, I know he is at peace in a better place. We had so many good times both in Calumet Park with Pete and his family, Appleton and at other family gatherings. He would come to Appleton and prepare the meals for my husband’s birthday parties. One year we couldn’t even get the food to the tables. People stood by the stove taking it from him as soon as it was prepared. He was very generous and had a great sense of humor. My memories of him will always bring a smile to my face.

Uncle Pete was an extremely considerate and caring man. I feel privileged that he became a part of my family; and, that he welcomed us into his. I will cherish the memories of the times we spent with him. He will remain in my thoughts and heart forever.

God gave to us a perfect person in Pete. He had unlimited and unconditional love for all of his children. He, his mother and all of his family have left a footprint on my soul and I am a better person because he was here. I will hold the privilege and memories of having him for a Dad nearest to my heart always. Until we meet again, may God treasure him as much as we did.

Pete was one of the "Good-Guys" we all were fortunite to meet and spend some time with. It's not so much that he's gone but that he was given to us originally. ALL THE CALIFORNIA HART'S
