Paula and I were childhood friends who lost track of each other for many, many years but reconnected when my Mom was admitted to the facility at which Paula worked. Today, my cousin who is a Mercy grad called me to tell me of Paula's death last November. I am so very sorry for her family. I have happy memories of Paula, her Mom, and her sisters from when we were all so very young. Leona Gniewek Shell

All attending our Mercy High School reunion were blessed to reconnect with Paula, and shocked to hear that she passed so quickly thereafter. Paula will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Paula, we are so going to miss your beautiful smile, and how truly you cared about others. You were a wonderful Wife Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and cousin to all. We loved seeing you with your beautiful grandchildren and how happy they made you. Heaven is a better place now. Your Aunt Dorothy has one of her best friends with her now. God Bless you and the entire family. Our love to all Jimmy, Deb, and Alicia Halikas & Family.
