Zimmer, Paul L. Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Pask), loving father of John (Paula Kowalkowski) Zimmer, Paula (Peter) Rooney, and Janet (Dan) Martin, cherished grandfather of Katherine, Jennifer, Robert, David, Joseph (Traci), and Andrew, dear great-grandfather of Hayley and Logan, adoring brother of Sr. Dorothy Zimmer and Ray (Irma) Zimmer and Leonie "Babe" (Tony) Pehan. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral, 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, to Our Lady of the Woods Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Mary Cemetery. Member of the American Legion, Post #600, longtime teacher at Chicago Vocational High School, and dedicated volunteer for many organizations. My sympathies to John, Paula, and Janet on the death of their father. It was always a pleasure to visit Paul and Dorothy at their home in Marquette Park. I especially remember Christmas's with the great-Aunts at their house.
