Paul Pearson Obituary

Pearson Sr., Paul E. age 72, of Crest Hill passed away Friday, July 27th, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Paul is survived by his loving family, his wife Gerry Pearson (nee Regula), six children H. June (Clayton) Rikard, Paul E. (Kathy) Pearson Jr., Debi (Edward) Christopher, Rodney (Sherry) Williams, Diana (David) Bell, Cindie (Ken) Pytlewski, three brothers John (Nancy) Gibbons, Carl "Buzz" (Kathy) Pearson, Jerry Pearson, one sister Delia Duffy, 15 grandchildren Nicholas (Jodi) Pearson, Nicole Pearson, Melissa Pearson, Tyler Christopher, Matthew Rikard, Daniel Rikard, Nathan Christopher, David (Tonya) Bell, Deanna Bell, Heather Williams, Megan Pytlewski, Doug Bell, A. J. Williams, Morgan Pytlewski, Zachary Pytlewski, one great-grandchild Hayden Pearson. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Delia Pearson (nee O'Donell), his first wife Hildora Pearson, and one brother,Melville Pearson. Paul was a member of St. Andrew Church in Romeoville as well as a member of the Teamsters Union. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr. in Romeoville on Monday, July 30th, 2007, from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday, July 31st, 2007, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and then to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 530 Glen Ave., Romeoville, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Geri, I am so sorry for your loss. Ill never forget what an inspiration you were to me when my mom was sick and how you stuck right by even when she died. I know your going to miss him, but I want to give you the same advice you gave me. (We know what that was). Love you very much! I'm always here.

Grandpa, I'll miss you so much... I never thought the day would come where we needed to say good bye to you. Even days later, I'm still in shock from it. It seems unreal. I'd give anything to hear your laugh and you to call me your "sweets" You'll be in my heart forever until we meet again. I love you so very much... I'll miss you Pa.
