Rest well in heaven and shine the love of the heavenly father upon us. My daughter Brigid had son Caden who is now 5 days old. Make the burdens of all who suffer be light and know you are missed by our entire family. Your Irish eyes smile today in our memories as they did while on earth. You truly made a difference while here and God smiles on us with your memory.

I always looked forward to Sunday mass when you were there. There was a wonderful essence and grace that you always had. Dear Father Paul ... I was your student at the French class you thought at St. Phillips HS in the '60's - and being that I too was an Irish emigrant I'm thankful for that extra effort and encouragement you would always give me. And on those occassions in later years when our paths would cross at some Irish club or event: our sharing a glass and singing the Irish Ballads will always be very special.
Thank you Fr Paul for educating and preparing me for life and may you rest in the peace and comfort of our Saviour.

To Father Cullen's family: we wish you gentle healing with this heavy loss. It was my and my family's pleasure to be in Father's company anytime it happened. He helped us through deaths, communions, confirmations, weddings and difficult confessions, baptisms. He was an awesome man. Most recently he blessed my children in a group of all their cousins. It brought tears to feel him pray for and bless them. What a joy. To think of him now brings a smile and it always will. I pray all his trials are over.

Thanks for your friendship to our family. You married us all, you buried my mom and dad. Your spirit and Irish wit will be here a long time after you're gone. Thanks especially for your friendship to Brother Bill and Sister Aileen, who along with your friend Father Ralph are with you now. Thanks for making it work in the Parish! Your Saviour is quite pleased.

Father Paul; God has just gained a True and Compassionate person in you. I Thank You for Blessing my Mom and Dad on their 60th Wedding Anniversary and giving me the opportunity to know you. You have given my family Great memories. You will always be in my heart and in my prayers.

Fr. Paul, words cannot describe how saddened I am by your passing. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland and meet your family. The kindness and compassion you showed me made me feel as if I was a part of your family. Joy and excitement would fill heart when I would go to Mass with my Aunt Eileen and Uncle Larry and talk to you afterwards about Ireland and Notre Dame. You will be truly missed. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

It is very hard to put into words how much Fr. Paul will be missed and what he meant to me and my family. To me he was the sunshine of Annunciata and I will always treasure the warm memories I have of him. And as Fr. We all were together in the midst of your pursuit of the priesthood and you were there through the years for each of us as we followed diverse paths in life. And it was you who helped send Peter off to Paradise. I expect he'll be anxiously waiting to greet you now. My deepest sympathy to John, Brigid and family.

We are saddened by your death. We will all miss your visits over the Summer. Always thinking of you, your Aunt Mo, Peter and your cousins in Cookstown.

Fr. Paul will be sorely missed, not just at Annunciata, but at all the parishes he served at as well as by all the people whom he touched. Although we are saddened by his passing, we are also comforted in knowing that the world is a better place for his having been here. Fr. Paul helped our family in times of need and he always made each one of us feel as if we were most loved. We miss our true friend and honor his memory.

Father Paul will be greatly missed. I have known father Cullen for almost 50 years and he is now with my Mom and Dad.
I am so grateful for all he did for my family and most recently at my Dads funeral.
Im so grateful for all his help he gave me when he was pastor at St Domitilla's in Hillside.

Fr. Cullen was a priest at St. Domitilla's parish when my family and myself were parishioners. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Fr. Cullen was a very good friend of my parents, growing up in in Westchester in the 60s.I can remember the St. Patrick day parties with his servite buddy, Fr. Obrien, singing Irish music with their beloved guitars until the wee hrs.I also remember the masses he said at our house.He married my wife and I in 1981.He was always trusted for guidance and advice!He will be missed by everyone that knew him.He's now in heaven with my mom and dad and his good buddy, Benny Hinsdale.
