Clay, Paul Curtis We sadly announce the passing of Paul Curtis Clay on Monday, May 27, 2013. He was a retired educator with the Chicago Public School System, having retired in 2003 from the D.S. Wentworth Elementary School. He was the beloved husband of Betty Clay; dear father of Kerry Clay and Celena Clay; loving grandfather of Kylie Thedia Lowe; fond brother of Rev. Henry (Effie) Clay Jr., the late Rev. Willie (Ruth) Clay Sr., Robert (Alfreda) Clay Sr., James Clay, Leonard (Mayleen) Clay, the late Jessie Austin, Clara Clay-Washington, Virginia Clay, Juanita (Clarence) Clay-Chambers, Carrie (James) Clay-Whitfield, Carrie (Earsell) Austin-Collier. He will be profoundly missed by the many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues who loved him. Visitation Monday, June 3, 2013, 4pm-7pm Jones Funeral Home 3240 W. 79th Street Chicago, IL 60652 (Arrangements by Boone's Funeral Service) Services Tuesday, June 4, 2013 St. Mark United Methodist Church 8441 South St. Lawrence Chicago, IL 60619. Wake/Prepass 10:00 a.m. Service 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Mark United Methodist Church, 8441 S. St. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL 60619.
