I was so sorry to learn of Patrick's death. I remember him as a little boy on Carpenter Street -- he was always smiling. My sympathy to all of the Sweeneys.

To the Family and Friends of Pat Sweeney, How sad I was to hear of Pats death. We were friends in the 80's and I had not seen or heard from him in years. Every now and again I would run into him here on the South-Side and he would give me a copy of his latest book. ( I have 2) and I will treasure them forever. He had great faith and in knowing that I am sure he is in Gods company. Love and prayers To All!!

KAREN CALLED TO LET ME KNOW PATRICK HAD PASSED AWAY. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO YOU ALL. HE NO LONGER NEEDS TO ENDURE LIFE'S DIFFICULT STRUGGLES AS HE HAD FOR SO MANY YEARS.HE IS NOW AT PEACE AND HOME WITH GOD AND HIS OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. I am so sorry to hear about Pat.I have so many funny, nice memories of him and your family on Carpenter Street! I remember walking him in his stroller when he was a baby. Hard to believe it was that long ago!
