Dear Quinn Family:
Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. Our husband and father worked for the Catholic Cemeteries (St. Mary's, Evergreen Park) for over 38 years and always spoke so well of your father. He has also passed on (November 2007) and I am sure they are all together sharing "cemetary" stories. Our prayers are with you and your families.

My family and I would like to send our condolences to the Quinn family on the loss of Patrick Quinn Sr. We will pray for you and your family to get through this time of sorrow and sadness.

The Karstens family sends their deepest sympathy on the loss your husband and father. We knew him for so many years in Hinsdale, and babysat for the boys. Pat was so kind and such a gentleman. Our mother, Agnes, died a few months ago, and always loved Eileen and Pat, and valued their friendship for so many years at St. Isaac Jogues.

Dear Mrs. Eileen Quinn and family,

The Doyle family has known Pat for almost all of our lives. My father RIP, Patrick J. Doyle also worked for the Catholic Cemeteries and was the proud friend of Pat Quinn. When I and my sister, Alice and brothers, Pat and Tom were children we knew Pat from "Holy Sep". My father had the greatest respect for him always. He was a true gentleman and the finest man a person could have to work with and also have as a friend. My father, who retired as Superintendant of Construction & Equipment for the Catholic Cemeteries after 48 years, forever held him in the highest esteem both personally and professionally. What a sad loss for your family and all of us who loved him. We offer all of you our deepest condolences and prayers.

Dear Eileen and family When Pat hired me in 1960 i felt like like I was coming into a family rather than an organization. Pat's warm and caring nature came to the surface whenever you met him. i don't get out much any more since I have lost most of my sight. know that Pat will be remembered daily in my prayers. Dear Mrs. Quinn, Pat, Tom and John,

My deepest condolences on the loss of Mr. Quinn. One of the many gifts I acquired 11 years ago when I met Filan was my acquaintance with the Quinn family. You each have a deep rooted civic spirit and warm acceptance for those you befriend. I know this was instilled by Mr. Quinn who was a role model not only for his sons, but all whom he met. It was my pleasure to know him.

I hope each day your sorrow is replaced with the loving memory of the life lived by Mr. Quinn.

Uncle PJ was kind, generous and loving. He touched every one of his nieces and nephews, and all of his family, with his gentle spirit. We will miss him, but we will always remember his voice and his fun-loving nature. Deepest sympathy to Aunt Eileen and the whole Quinn family.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Patrick Quinn Sr was a very giving man who really loved his family and was so proud of his sons. He had a kind of gentle priest-like quality about him. He will be fondly remembered. To Mrs. Quinn and the entire Quinn Family from Leo and Mary Kay Latz and Family. We are so sorry for the loss of Mr. Quinn. I have so many memories of Mr. Quinn dating back to your home in Hinsdale. More than all of them, I remember him as the kindest, most hospitable and caring man I'd ever known. He was always so positive about everything especially his sons and their many accomplishments and the White Sox! No man more passionately loved his wife, his family and his God. He was truly a wonderful example to anyone who was blessed to know him. There is no doubt that his path to heaven was on a super highway and he is now a member of the litany of Saints singing Irish lullabies and ditties.

Our prayers are with your family. My father, the late Edward Hosty, worked with Pat at Queen Heaven in Hillside for many years.

Mr. Quinn was a patient at the UIC Eye Center for over 14 years. He was a great person to know and talk with, each time he came in for his appointments. We always looked forward to seeing him and Mrs. Quinn on their visits to the doctor. I pray that Mrs. Quinn be strong, because I know her heart is aching. To God we give the glory. Above and beyond his many accomplishments, PJ left a legacy of love. We will miss him.

Mr. Quinn was a role model to our generation with his commitment to Family, God, and Nation. It is our duty to honor his memory by passing the torch he gave to us onto our children. We are the better for having him in our midst. We will be better still should we succeed in building upon the foundation of his work.

May P.J. rest in the eternal peace that Christ has promised to all who serve Him. Your wonderful families are the testament to this gentle man's extraordinary life.
