I drive through the UIC campus a couple of times a week. Whenever I did I would keep an eye out hoping to see Patrick. Now when I am at UIC I will think of and remember all the great things that Patrick was able to accomplish. Patrick, you are in my heart forever.

Whenever you need support, I will be there. I love Patrick so much, and he will continue to light up my heart and life with joy. He was my inspiration and when he told me things would be okay, I believed him. Diane and Bob thank you for giving me someone who cared about me so much. He deserved the world, and you gave him nothing less.

I am totally inspired by how Patrick touched so many peoples lives. I can't express how much it means to have been a part of Patrick's life for such a short time. My love and deepest sympathy goes out to all that have loved him, especially his parents and Emily. Always remember that we are God's Children and our life here is so precious and we should enjoy life to our fullest. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. "Tears in Heaven" I am sure Patrick is crying for us too! Love Aunt Rita

It is an unfortunate truth about life that we get so wrapped up in our daily responsibilities that we allow so much time to pass without seeing or talking to family members. At times like this we remember how important family IS. I remember going to the zoo with all of the Juris cousins when we were young and Patrick was just a few years old, if that. I remember that he was always smiling, very happy. I've read of some of the things he did. He was quite incredible. To Bob, Diane, and Emily; Patrick will always be loved and remembered by so many. Our deepest sympathies during your time of loss.
Love,

Bob, Diane & Emily,
My heart is broken at the loss of Patrick. He was a kind, giving and selfless young man and will be missed. Danielle shared many stories with me of all of the fun times they had together. He was a great companion and confidant to her. It was due to your devotion and love that he accomplished independence in his daily life. God Bless you and your family.

When I think of Pat, I think of his ever present smile, a smile that could light up a room, a smile that never faded a smile that always made me smile. Pat you will be sorely missed, but your smile will FOREVER be in my heart.

DEAREST, BOB, DIANE , EMILY..AND OUR PATRICK..
It is with a broken heart, I try to find the words..to express the loss we feel so deep. The love that over flows.
Diane & Bob...it is because of you..that Patrick became the outstanding compassionate young man he was.. The unwavering abundance of love and encouragement you gave him..came so naturally for you...
He learned compassion, strenght, and fortitude by giving back..what you had given him. No better parents on earth could he of wished for..take pride in that. Emily..you have always been the best older sister to him...all our memories...from birthday parties..to the lambs at the fair...such a love the two of you shared. We all are so proud to be related to you, and we share your pain. SWEET PATRICK.. Our loss is Heavens gain...I know you are in GODS arms...... and so many of our loved ones embrace you. We will miss you, love you..be proud of you and speak your name..until we are all together again..we love you..love you..forever

Patrick, There are no words that can express what is in our hearts
right now...The Pain of losing you is so deep..
I have talked to every Juris Cousin....WE are all feeling the same..
The thought of you leaving us......so so so soon is just to much..
We love you truly...miss you already..
But we know you are surrounded by so much love already in Heaven.
I can just see my Mom ( Betty) and your GrandFather Lou, pushing each other out of the way...so they can be the first to hold you..
You are in a better place I know that..
But we still want you here...
You will Forever be in our hearts..Never will we forget you..
So Brave and Strong and yet so tender and sweet..
Our Auntie Helen Adored you...and for her ...I am so sorry too......
WE LOVE YOU PATRICK
For Always and Ever....

My Dearest Brother Patrick,
I am so sad that you left so soon. I still can't believe that you are gone. I miss you so much. You have given me inspiration to do so many things that I don't think I would ever do. I remember like it was yesterday when you climbed Bell Rock in Sedona. You had so much determination to climb. I think that was one of the most inspirational moments that I have shared with you. I cannot believe how many lives that you have touched! It is just amazing! I know that many people are going to miss you but boy am I really going to miss you! I am glad that I have so many memories that are near and dear to my heart and the fact that I can share them with my future children and grandchildren makes me smile. They will be happy to know that they had such a wonderful Uncle and hopefully they will carry on your strength and determination (although I don't think anyone could be as strong and determined as you are but they can sure follow by the example that you showed).
I love you Buddy.
Love,
Emily
P.S. If they serve popcorn up there make sure you tell them "Dad serves drinks"! :)
