Even though we were already states away from our existence in Cali, I hope you know that you will never be forgotten or replaced. You brought much joy and laughter, intelligent literature conversation, and life advice into my life at Santa Clara and I thank you for that. I was sad to hear about Pat's sudden death. He was a great kid. I have many fond memories of rowing with both Pat and Tommy. Pat was a great teammate as well as a motivational peer. He will truly be miss by many.

My heart goes out to the Hotchkiss family at the tragic loss of Patrick. When I left St. A's in June of 1995, I believe Patrick was in 4th grade.

Bridget, you were always so sweet to me and everyone. Please know that you, your husband, and Tom are in my thoughts and prayers. I offered today's school mass here at St.John the Baptist in Patrick's memory and for your family. May your tears of sorrow one day turn to happy memories of your cherished son and brother.

He rests with God and with our beloved Pope John Paul II.

Pat was a wonderful, bright spirit. Though our boys were good friends at Loyola, I (Nan) met him for the 1st time in Santa Clara at parents' weekend last April 2003, when I took the boys out for lunch. I'm sure this happens to you - there are people that you like immediately. This was Pat for me! I was struck by how respectful and courteous he was and how interested he was in other people and what they had to say.



Not a day, really a minute, goes by that we don't think about you. There is no imagining what you are going through.
