Patrick Healy Obituary

Healy, Jr., Patrick F. on October 24th went home to God after a 31 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband for 51 years of Margaret "Marge" nee Shannon. Loving father of Patrick (Therese), Sharon (Kerry) Pugh, Peggy (Michael) Hickey, Kathleen (Brian) King, Christine (Ted) Milazzo, Brian (Christy). Grandfather of 22 dearly loved grandchildren. Survived by sisters Virginia Gasey and Gennie (Don) Rumann; sister-in-law Barbara Shannon; and many nieces and nephews. Patrick served in the military police, was a graduate of Loras College and Loyola Law School, and worked as an attorney at ICRR. He was a member of Cardinal Berardin Knights of Columbus, served on the school boards of Queen of Martyrs and Infant Jesus of Prague, and a parishioner for many years at St. Lawrence O'Toole, until moving to Bethlehem Woods in LaGrange Park. Many thanks to Burgess Square's fine staff and deep gratitude to caregiver Ross Sanchez. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W.55th St., Countryside. Prayers Friday, 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs, Mass 9:45 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
