Sorry to hear of your loss. A great guy that will be sorely missed. He lit up the room every time he came to Detroit whether for a wedding, an anniversary, or a funeral (or deer hunting). A genuine and totally dedicated family man. We will miss his iron grip, bear hugs, and hearty laugh. You are in our prayers.

Mrs. Farrell & Family,
Were were sorry to hear of your unexpected loss. I will remember Mr. Farrell for the Gaelic Fire Brigade picnics, Irish Milwaukee Fest, and especially for his gesture of the sign of the cross on my forehead and for toasting a Bud with him while sitting on the pew in the kitchen.
To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die and I'm sure Mr. Farrell will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
With our sympathy and prayers to you and your family,

To the best Godfather a girl could ever ask for if she had a choice!! Only 6 weeks apart, you were the closest my Dad had to a brother...and it showed. Since my parents chose you, and I was first, I know I got the best of the best!!!
You once told me when I was in high school, the only real, important, original and non materialistic thing you could give to each of your children was their good name, and for that reason, no first or middle name would be repeated.....I have never forgotten that conversation and I found it very profound and endearing.
You weren't fond that I put ketchup on my meat, but you ALWAYS greeted me with "there's my girl"....you always made me feel like the most important person in the room whenever you saw me.
Thank you for the back-cracking hugs, the true Christian meaning of being a Godfather (it wasn't un-noticed) and the signs of the Cross on my forehead.
I hope you are enjoying a Bud, singing Irish songs and reuniting with those we have lost in past years. I know that your baby Sean is thrilled to have his Dad by his side and showing you how Big Time does it in Heaven!
I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places!!
I will miss you more than you will know

The Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.
