Jean and Steve ("Ace"), I am deeply saddened to learn of Pats passing. Throughout the years he had been a great friend to my family- MOST importantly, to my folks- even throughout their illness. I have MANY fond memories going back, some 30 plus years- which I will never forget. I wish that time / life had not gotten away from me- for I regret not spending some of that time with Pat- as he often had shared with my folks. Patrick was a GREAT guy and friend. -Charles Quick Jr, Rosedale, MD

Dear Jean, I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Carol called and told me today. I only met Pat a couple of times but he seemed a sweet, happy fellow. In reading the other Guest Book entries I can see that he had such a wonderful effect on so many lives. I loved your photo gallery and I can see what a fun guy Pat was. Love and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Your cousin Joanne

Mrs. Jeanie, I'm so sorry for the loss of your amazing husband.
Though you both are my neighbors, you are actually like family to us.
Mr. Pat was nothing but an angel walking this earth and was truly adored. Anything or any time we needed something he never thought twice and just "did it". He took my son under his arms as a mentor and father figure and taught him lessons on how to be a bright young man and productive person in this world. Not only that but how to respect the value of a dollar.

You brought that extra ray of sunshine to our block and it's so hard to know that it's missing in the physical form.

You have left an everlasting impression on our hearts and will forever be missed.

Rest in Paradise Mr. Pat, we love and miss you so much.
I can't say goodbye, only see you later.

To the Chelton Family,

I haven't seen Pat in years, but we connected on Facebook a few years ago. We lived two doors down from Ms. Betty and Mr. Harry. You always knew Pat was outside, because you could hear his "mating call" (as my mom used to call it) a mile away. Pat treated me like a little sister then, teasing me more than I would have liked. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

Pat was by far my best friend while I served in the Navy. He always made me laugh with his bigger than life laugh he had when telling a story. Having a friend like Pat with you while serving on a ship out at sea made the time away from loved ones easier to handle. I'm a better person for knowing you Pat!

Although Pat and I haven't seen each other in 20 years, I will truly miss our phone conversations. Those 2-3 times a year we would talk seemed to always lift my spirits. Talking of our Navy days past, and the direction each of our live's have taken, our kids and the latest news of mutual friends. Pat was a fun roommate, a good wingman, and always a Terrific Buddy! Jeannie made Pat a Great Man! I pray that God & Pat continue to watch over Jean and Steven (Ace Man). May they guide and console you in this very difficult time. You will be forever in my prayers.
Your Bud for Life,
Mike Mucic

I have never heard anyone ever say anything but good things about Pat Chelton, that is a testament in itself. Our prayers go to Jean his wife who works here and Steven his son whom I met once and everyone else in Pat's life who is affected by his passing. God bless you Pat Chelton!

I can't begin to explain how deeply saddened I am to hear about Pat. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. We began working with each other but over the years became good friends and shared a mutual respect for one another. He will never realize how much that meant to me. To dear Jeannie - I know that words will never take away the horrendous hurt and pain you are feeling but my thoughts and prayers are with you. He loved you dearly and will always be there watching over you. I will miss you dearly my friend, my buddy!
