Charlton, Patrick Age 45, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2006. Patrick will be dearly missed by his wife, Serena and children Harry (14), Alex (12) and Emma (9). Patrick was born on April 7, 1961. His parents were Henry and Catherine (nee Crowley) Charlton. Patrick had many loving siblings Mary T. (Bill) Spencer of Crystal Lake, IL; Delia (Ed) Jurkiewicz of Dallas, TX; Regina (Scott) Johnsen of St. Charles, IL; Elizabeth (Jeff) McHugh of Madison; Maureen Charlton of Madison, WI; Catherine Charlton of Madison, WI; and the late Brendan Charlton of Madison. Patrick is also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Patrick was a graduate of Our Lady of Peace grade school, Madison, WI, Edgewood High School, Madison, WI and The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was married to Serena Barber on May 25, 1991. Patrick was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors tremendously, including his love of hunting and passion for landscaping. He was gifted with an abundance of wit and charm, and had a great Irish sense of humor. Patrick is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brendan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006, 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 1134 St. James Court, Madison. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2006, from 4-6 p.m. at the Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Road, Madison, and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Following interment at Resurrection Cemetery, a luncheon will be held at the Charlton residence in Verona. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edgewood High School. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Partrick back in the early 80's at (what was then), Marine Bank. I remember his sense of humor, but he also had a very compassionate side, especially for some of the older customers. I'm sure he was a good father and loving husband. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss.
