Dear Mrs. Wieland.
What a wonderful way to bid you farewell.
I have no doubt that you were welcomed with open arms by your Creator, loving husband, daughter Judy and all those souls who had passed on before you.

I wish I could have been there to support my Childhood friend Connie in her time of grief. She was there for me when my mom went Home.

I'm remembering the times Connie, me and Judy would have In your home. I always felt welcome there. Even as a yourg child, I saw the love your husband and children had for you. I can't tell you how many times I rode my bike from Kildare to Tripp St.

What I remember about you the most is your laugh. It was distinctively pleasant and full of warmth and acceptance.

God blessed you with a full and happy life, a loving husband and 4 grateful daughters. Until we meet again; thank you for the memories......
Sincerely,
Jeannine (Aurelio) Dalberg

Grandma, I was very lucky to have such a wonderful grandmother like you. When I lived with you as a teenager, I remember you sitting in your recliner with your big brown bear slippers (coming from the kitchen that is all I would see was the bear feet!!). I also remember how much you and Grandpa loved to watch Johnny Carson:) I always laugh when I think of when you would answer my phone and put the receiver down, not realizing that when you did that, you hung the phone up and couldn't understand why it kept happening:) I loved how funny you were when Grandpa would eat brown beans, and you would say 'Jack, you are goin to blow me out of the bed!' You welcomed my mom and me into your home and I was grateful for that experience. No matter how bad things were or how much pain you were in, you always had a smile on your face and loved to make us laugh. Sometimes you would make us laugh just because you misunderstood what we were saying and you were shocked at what you thought you heard!! It was also funny when you would stick your dentures out and Jackie would say "mom, put your teeth back in." Payton started imitating that with her mouth when she was younger and we would laugh. My Mom, Russ, Jackie, Jim, Christy, Payton, Mark and I have all cherished our time with you and will always hold you in our hearts. We know at our next gathering you and Grandpa will be watching us, wondering when we are going to play poker or if we are going to have chocolate turtles for a snack:) We will all be ok because you taught us well and we know what is important in life-family and love. We will always be there for each other just as you were for us. I love you very much and am glad Payton and I were able to sit with you on the Saturday before you transitioned, singing and talking to you. Payton kissed your nose and said 'oh, great grandma, you have a cold nose'. You tried very hard that day to open your eyes, and that quick second meant alot to us. I was able to tell you how I feel between you and I, and I will always treasure that day with you. Please watch over us, make sure we are all behaving, and tell Grandpa and Aunt Judy that we miss them, and make sure you hold a spot for us in heaven when our time comes. I LOVE YOU GRANDMA, HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ETERNITY. Love, Tracy.

Dear Mom,

I miss you so much. This house is such a lonely place without you. I miss our talks at night when it was just the two of us sitting watching tv. I miss seeing those beautiful blue eyes and that smile that lit up "The Room." I know that you are in a better place now without the pain. It was an honor to take care of you all of these years and I would do it all over again. I love you very much & until we see each other again I'll be careful and have a good game. Love, Jackie

Dear Mrs. Wieland,

I know what a wonderful mom you were to your 4 daughters, & how you welcomed their friends into your home as well...I know you were a dedicated Catholic & a true Christian, & totally "pro-life in every circumstance." You accepted & embraced your your "crosses" in life as we all must learn to do, & in so doing, you were an example to others. You gave your daughters a dedicated Catholic upbringing, & I have no doubt that you have reaped your reward & are resting in peace.

Sincere condolences to the family.

Dear Mom, no matter how long you prepare, it's always heartbreaking to lose someone, especially you. I will always remember & miss your beautiful blue eyes, wonderful sense of humor, bright sunny smile & loving heart. I'll miss you telling me to be careful everytime I left the house & shouting out from your chair, "I love you, Kathy." Even though I didn't make your life very easy during my teenage years, no matter what I pulled or tried to get away with, you were always there for me with your love & understanding. I'm a better person because of you. I'm sure it was a joyous reunion with Daddy & Judy & all your family & friends waiting to see you again. Now you are pain free & no longer suffering, which comforts me. I know you will be watching over all of us & you will always be in my heart.

Good bye, Mom - until we meet again.

Be Carefull - I Love You, Mom.

Love,
Kathy

Dear Mom,
It breaks my heart to lose you. In life you were my mom and best friend. I will miss our conversations about the old days. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers, and I know you will always be at my side. Now you are at peace and reunited with Daddy and Judy and all your family whom have gone before you. Even though my family and I could not see you before you left us, our hearts were and are with you always. I'll never forget what you said to me last time I was able to see you. You said "I love you so much, Connie", and that will always stay with me and how cute you were when you said it. I love you so much too, Mom.

Love,

Connie, Nevio, Nevio Jr. and Matthew
