Patricia Donahue Obituary

Donahue, Patricia Born February 21, 1932. passed away on February 8, 2013. Loving mother to Robert J. Donahue; daughter-in-law, Lisa Arredondo-Donahue; granddaughter, Sofia Rose Donahue; mother of late Caroline. Patricia was a good mother, wife and friend to many. This year was especially important because Patricia was to be a grandmother in February of 2013. Looking forward to be called Grandma. Even though Patricia's health was a problem she tried to always make it to church every Sunday at Calvary Church in Orland Park, IL. She always came home with the sermon so she could share it with the other seniors at her senior home. Patricia enjoyed eating out, shopping and getting her hair done every Tuesday. She was a beautician in her younger days and believed in improving her look. We'd like to thank everyone at Calvary Church for their kind help over the years. Unfortunately, Patricia was too ill to meet her granddaughter, but she knew the baby had been born and wanted her son and daughter-in-law to know they be good parents. Because they had been there for Patricia faithfully after her daughter Caroline passed suddenly. They made the last five years of her life worth living, taking care of her through thick and thin. We know now we have a angel to watch over us. Patricia will be missed but will always be with us in our hearts.

Dear Robert and Lisa,
So sorry for your loss. I hope Melissa's explanation gave you some comfort. She must have been so happy about the birth of her beautiful granddaughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I'm sorry to read about your loss. I didn't know Ms. Donahue personally, but I know that she is missed very much. God invites us to draw close to Him, and turn to Him in prayer, asking for comfort during sad times. I hope that you do so and that memories of her bring you happiness.
