Happy St. Patti's Day Patti!
Hi Jack, Court, Cait and Jack. I used to call Patti every year to say that to her and it always made her laugh. I miss and love all of you, hope you are doing well.

Dear Jack,
The sad news about Patti's passing has just made its way to Southern Illinois. I'm shocked and heartbroken. She's an unforgetable woman and I'm so sad for all of you. The last photos I have of Courtney and Caitlin were from 7th and 6th grade. Jack was around 3 years old the last time I visited...but just last year she phoned. She was so warm and funloving, too. Again, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you all.

Dear Jack, Court, Cait & Jack. I just want to tell you all how much I love you and how happy I am that your Mom had all of you in her life. She really loved everyone she knew and everyone who knew her loved her too. She was so happy to be a Wife and Mother. It was the best job she ever had. She was a wonderful Aunt to me too as well as a great friend. We all have to remember the fun, happy times and let go of any sadness we may feel. I love you all and I'm so grateful that I knew Aunt Patti my whole life. It wouldn't have been the same without her and without all of you. We will miss her dearly, but I know she will always be with all of us. Love you all!

Jack, Courtney, Caitlin & Jack,

This was written by one of Kevin's friends, who passed away and left this for his family and friends. May this bring comfort and strength to your entire family.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When my life is done.

I think that this sounds so much like Patti and just wanted to share it with you all

We love you all

To Patty's family. As Gina stated, Patty, Dawn, Gina, Therese (my sister) and I all grew up together in St. Bede. We played barbies, we took tap and ballet at Durkin Park (w/Miss Kiss), played Ghost in the Graveyard.. We had such a wonderful time growing up.

Mary, you had such wonderful parties and sleepovers for us at your house for Patty's birthday. I will never forget the party's we also had at Patty's house in St. Bede. We had so much fun growing up.

My family and I are so incredibly sad to hear this.

To Patty's children, you had an amazing Mother and we had the most wonderful childhood growing up with your mother. I will never forget her.

Mary and Mike, We are so sorry for your loss.

Love, Ann

Dear Jack, Courtney, Caitlin, and Jack,
To lose your Mom is hard for everyone, no matter what age we are - or how young or old they are. All we can do is know that a Mom is always close to your heart. Just close your eyes and remember her smile and how much she loved you.
I'll remember Patti from the days when our kids were young, playing in the pool, when Jack was born, when my daughter Ellen babysat for him as a toddler. I'll keep you in my prayers.
Sincerely,

Chris (May) Glatz

My heart is so sad. Patty and I go waaaay back -- to Durkin Park and St. Bede days. We took ballet and tap together with Mrs. Kiss for years. And, then 20 years later here we lived in the same neighborhood with our daughters the same age who are also good friends. Life is a full circle and Patty lived life fully. All my thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

so i have sat here for an hour now trying to think of what to say and still cannot think of the right words that i am looking for. Patti was what i considered to be my second mother. she was one of the kindest most generous people that i know and words cannot describe what she meant to me. i wish i could take the pain that everyone especially what your family is feeling away but when someone like Patti touches your life, sadness is the least that we can feel. The memories will never leave me and i am truly honored to say that not only did i get to meet her but become so close to her family. Even tho God called Patti to him and she had to go i still see her spirit live on through her children and that i am grateful for.
love you so much!

I'll always remember Patty as being in the garage waving as I would ride my bike down the street when I was younger, to the days now when I would pass in my car. She was a wonderful person, always friendly and with a warm smile showing. I am sorry for your loss, she will be missed deeply by many people who came in contact with her gentleness. She will always be kept in my heart each and every day.Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort knowing that she is in Heaven with God.
