Eileen Horton Obituary

Eileen Kay Horton, age 83 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Rosemead, California on June 21, 1942, to the late Joel and Blanche (Eady) Parks. A devoted homemaker, Eileen enjoyed arts and crafts as well as volunteering in her community. She also enjoyed traveling. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Horton; grandson, Anthony Feese; and sister, Delores Elder. Eileen is survived by her loving children, Jessie (Dewayne) Milligan of Florida, Betsie Thomas of Lynchburg, Jimmy (Deven) Braun of Oklahoma, Bob (Beth) Braun of Lewisburg, and Sean (Wanda) Braun of Shelbyville; step-children, Bill (Joyce) Horton of Shelbyville, Danny Horton of California, and Stacey Horton of Shelbyville; sister, Nancy (Don) Primus of Lynchburg; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Limbaugh Cemetery.
