Patricia Buckley Obituary

Buckley, Patricia Ann (nee Wellman) Born March 22, 1936 in Chicago, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 24, 2017. Pat was a wonderful mother, grandmother, Catholic, Scrabble pro, poker player and die-hard Cubs fan. She is survived by children, Thomas, Ann Marie (Michael) Renfree, Amy Baker, Matthew (Carolyn) and Beth (Bill) Novak; beloved daughters-in-law, Terri Buckley (nee Jacobsen) and Laura Lojas; adored grandchildren, Francis III, Kelly (Marlan) Washington, Erin and Theresa Buckley; Daniel, Kevin, Patrick and Hannah Buckley; Jack, Lukas and Wyatt Renfree; Alexander Baker; Jackson and Samantha Buckley; and Jared, Joshua and Ava Novak; precious great-granddaughters, Makayla Washington and Elliana Buckley; and her Dachshund and very best friend, Buddy. Pat left behind many special nieces, nephews and friends, as well as two exceptional caregivers. Patricia was predeceased by husband, Francis and children, Francis Jr., Theresa and Daniel. She is currently watching the Cubs with her parents, Russell and Kathryn (Hespen) Wellman and her sister, Virginia Klabough. There will be a 5:00 p.m. mass on Friday, May 12 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 17500 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60487. In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider a contribution to PAWS of Tinley Park in her honor.
