Pat Smith-Pierce Obituary

Smith-Pierce, Pat A. Age 74, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away February 9, 2014. She was born in Washington, D.C. to Edward and Mary Lou Anderson. Pat earned her Bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and her PhD in Communications from Washington State University. She was an accomplished businesswoman with her own firm, Insight Communications, as well as a retired Harper College professor. She was a member of Tri Delta Sorority and a supporter of the Chicago Symphony. She is survived by her loving brother, Mark (Pat) Anderson. and nieces, Lynn Anderson-Feils, Kelly Storm and Kim Lyons. Visitation Friday, February 14, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf, Schaumburg. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humane Society's Kindred Spirits memorial program at www.humanesociety.org or by calling 866-720-2676.
