I am so saddened to just find out that Pam made her transition. On this day 5/2/25 they have begun demolition on our grade school.(Holy Angels). The Rayner family was an important part of the Oakland (Bronzeville) community. God bless the Rayner family.

I remember how kind and generous Pam was to me when I needed a place to run my funeral services. Pam didn't ask for a penny, she just wanted to help me.

Later on Pam hired me to make removals for Rayner funeral home on the south side.

I will always remember the kind and generous things Pam did for me with as a female funeral director.

Thank you Pam!

Will miss you,

Pam White

My dearest Pam, I just found out about your passing and know you suffer no more. We knew each other since grammar school and throughout our lives fate had always brought us together Now my sister with the same name you have been granted bigger wings to shield us in a greater calling. I´ll miss seeing again in the flesh however may we meet again in eternity.

Pam, you bring the gift of certainty and compassion during grief and confusion. I will never forget the gentlemen you sent to wait in the hospital during my fathers transition- so that we did not suffer the indignity of the morgue. My brother before him, my mother just this past December- when you were ill but still working to make sure things went smoothly. To the end, you shared your unique grace (and let´s not forget how much fun you are during ordinary times when people ain´t dying, lol). Rest well, my friend.

Pam became my friend being that Raynor is my family's funeral home. She opened up her heart to us always with kind words and knowledge. She was there for me when "my Mama" passed in January 2019. She was very professional and outspoken I admired her more than she knew. Pam Thank you for being who you are! Always&Forever! Edna L Laura

Sending my condolences to the family of Pam Rayner. I went to school with Nancy Rayner (Holy Angels Catholic School) and also had the pleasure of meeting her Dad Mr Rayner. Met Pam and Director Charles Child´s on two very sad occasions. Charles helped us with the care of our last family member. Will forever be grateful for all of the support and care we received during our time of loss from AA Rayners and Staff.
You will be missed Pam.

My Beautiful Friend

August 20, 2023

I met Pamela through my nieces they went to grammar school together. My Nieces and Pam were so close I started calling her My niece also. As a little girl she had that no nonsense attitude about her. I knew she would be successful in carrying on the Family’s business as being the owner of one of the most respected and renowned funeral homes on the South Side of Chicago. Iam going to miss her kind heart and caring spirit. Pam walked me through one of the most difficult times in my life, the passing of my Mother in October of 2004. She provided services that I’ll never forget. Pamela C. Rayner you were a treasure in life and will be forever honored in death. For the countless bereaved families you comforted. Now it’s our turn to comfort your family. Miss you Pam Pam !
