Ozelle Hayes Obituary

Ozelle Shelton Hayes, 93, of the Newport Highway, Greeneville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 24, 2013, at
Laughlin Health Care Center.

She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Church of God.
Mrs. Hayes was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Glenna and Bill Reynolds of Greeneville; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Kimberly and Charles Shorb of Cary, NC; two special great grandsons: Matthew Shorb and Michael Shorb, of Cary, NC;
one brother: Grady E. Shelton of Greeneville; a sister-in-law: Pauline Hayes of Greeneville; step grandchildren: Patti Riblett and husband, John, of Knoxville, Billy Reynolds, Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Lenoir City; Doug Reynolds and wife, Ardell, of Greeneville; Belinda Tweed of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Gladys Shelton and was preceded in death by her
husband of 67 years, Richard Hayes, who passed away June 2, 2007 also at the age of 93; two
brothers, Emerson Shelton and Coolidge Shelton.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at Victory Church of God with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating.
Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Terry Shelton, Arnold Shelton, Billy Reynolds, Jr., John Riblett, Richard Meade and Doug Reynolds.
Dr. James R. McKinney, Dr. Robert Thomas, Dr. John Shaw, Carl Belcher, members of the Adult Sunday School Class of Victory Church of God.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at Victory Church of God preceding the funeral service.
